Hey jml, here are some things you can try: Contact Your Service Provider Contact your service provider and inform them about your issues. Turn on Airplane Mode Try leaving airplane mode on for 1 minute. Then test the messages. Restore Your Device If all the above don't work do a clean factory restoration of the device using iTunes.

Note: I know that I mentioned power cycling earlier but, powering off your phone then powering it back on often connects you to the closest tower as well, and power cycling can be a good temp fix in many situations. Problem solved! I tried disconnecting from my network and registering with another. Once this attempted connection failed, I then re-registered with my own network and, hey presto, all my missing text messages appeared!
